Atlanta Palms began as a passion project when founder David Artman transformed his backyard into a tropical oasis 17 years ago after installing a swimming pool. What started as a personal quest to bring palm trees to Atlanta quickly grew into a realization that there was a significant gap in the local market for cold-hardy palm trees that could thrive in Georgia's climate.
Artman noticed the lack of palm trees locally in Atlanta, so he initially purchased small palm trees from Home Depot. Over the years, these trees thrived, sparking his interest in expanding into a full-fledged business. Drawing on his extensive background in digital marketing and entrepreneurship, David established Atlanta Palms to fill this void and help fellow Georgians create their own slice of paradise.

Brad Dreyer, Partner & Operations Specialist
Brad Dreyer is the owner of Bulldog Palms and serves as a key partner in our operations. Based in Dallas, GA, Brad brings additional expertise in palm tree cultivation and regional distribution. Bulldog Palms specializes in cold-hardy and tropical palm trees, growing over 75 varieties on their Florida farm and bringing them to their retail location in Georgia.
